Supporters
The Junction Foundation exists to make a difference to the lives of children, young people and families across Teesside. In order to do that we are supported by a growing number of individuals, businesses, Charitable Trusts and foundations, and the public sector, to keep on making that difference.
Supporters are the people that make our work possible. As a charity we are reliant on income from a variety of sources including:
Individuals/ community - who choose to support us by either individual donations, fundraising on our behalf or getting involved with Junction Activities, such a running or other fundraising events.
Businesses/ corporate partners - whether donating on a larger scale through Charity of the Year Awards, one off donations in cash, kind or for goods we are supported by lots of businesses locally. We also benefit by businesses supporting children and young people by donating time to broaden the aspirations or provide volunteering or work opportunities
Charitable Trusts and Foundations - as a charity ourselves we are regularly supported by grant making charities from large grant makers such as The National Lottery Community Fund to small family run trusts.
The Public Sector (including Local Authorities, the NHS,The Department for Work and Pensions) - through contracts for specific pieces of work, services or projects that are identified as needed in local areas.
