The Junction are proud to announce that our United Tracks project is being backed by Youth Music and is supported with thanks to the National Lottery via Arts Council England. United Tracks will provide musical activities for young people who face barriers to music making in rurally isolated areas and urban areas of high deprivation across South Tees, activities began in July 2021 and will run till March 2024. The project features small structured music sessions delivered by community musicians working alongside specialist staff from The Junction’s multi-disciplinary team.
United Tracks aims to
· Develop young people’s ability to play in a group and take part in musical improvement
· Increase young people’s confidence and well being
· Increase young people’s leadership and social skills
