Youth Employment Service

The Junction Foundation provides confidential, non-judgemental information and support for young people aged 16-25 years old to enable them to make informed choices and to access the right support at the right time.

The Youth Employment Team works with young people, some who are often the furthest away from education and employment opportunities.  This may be  due to low confidence and self belief, homelessness, relationships breakdown, substance misuse, poor mental health and emotional well being, debt and income problems or often a complex combination of issues.  The team looks to provide personalised education, employment and enterprise opportunities alongside activities and bespoke support.

Throughout the duration of the project the Tees Valley Pathways Programme will support 8,698 young people aged 15 to 29 across the Tees Valley who are unemployed or inactive with the aim of progressing them into Education, Employment, Training or Self-Employment.
