ARE YOU LOOKING TO GET INTO EMPLOYMENT, EDUCATION OR TRAINING?
At The Junction the Youth Employment Service works with young people aged between 16 and 25 years old who are unemployed or inactive, some of whom are often the furthest away from education and employment opportunities. We understand that everyone is different so we aim to support young people in a way that works best for them in order for them to progress into Education, Employment, Training or Self-Employment.
We Listen: We work alongside young people to help them to shape their own support, completing an intake assessment that identifies personal and career related areas for development. Each young person identifies their training needs and sets goals that they would like to achieve whilst taking part in the programme, this helps to empower them to take control of their own support.
We genuinely care: Our expertise is second to none, showing empathy towards each individual’s situation. Staff work with the young person to develop a professional trusting relationship which helps to develop confidence when accessing the service. Progress is regularly reviewed to ensure that young people are meeting the goals that they have set.
The Tees Valley Pathways Programme is part funded by the European Social Fund and is supported under the Youth Employment Initiative.
