Young Volunteers Course

This course is aimed at young people aged 16 plus (young people over 18 will need to complete a DBS) who would like to start volunteering with children and young people within The Junction Foundation services.

When?

29^th January 2022, 10.00 am till 4.00pm – venue TBC

What will I learn?

• The role and responsibility of young volunteers
• Introduction to working with children and young people
• Planning, health and safety and safeguarding and planning for development

What will I gain?

Young people attending will be offered the opportunity to apply for a variety of roles within the charity.

What are the benefits to young people of doing this course?

Introduction to working with children and young people, opportunity to gain experience, develop skills and access training opportunities
