Police and Crime Commissioner for Cleveland, Steve Turner Meets with The Junction Foundation and Partners to discuss the PCSS Outreach Provision

On Tuesday 15th May, Phil Dolphin, Youth and Participation Lead at the Junction Foundation met with Police and Crime Commissioner for Cleveland, Steve Turner  and our delivery partners on the PCC Youth Outreach provision, from Stockton, Middlesbrough and Hartlepool.

Originally launched in April, the Youth Outreach Provision enables further concentrated detached youth work and one to one support for young people in areas affected by high levels of anti-social behaviour in Middlesbrough, to intervene and support young people as early as possible. Initially the project will be concentrated in Hemlington.  We chatted about the success of the work so far, the need for relationship based, trauma informed practice across youth services and how to improve the sustainability of the sector.

We are committed to making a difference to the lives of young people through person centred approaches, engaging with young people in a non-judgemental way to create positive change.

Looking forward to working together on this important project.
