The Junction provides access to confidential, non-judgemental information and support for young people enabling them to make informed choices and to access the right support at the right time.
The YES team work with young people particularly those who are often furthest away from employment. This could be due to low confidence and self belif, homelessness, relationships breakdown, substance misuse, poor mental health and emotional well being, debt and income problems, unemployment or often a complex combination of issues.
Our Youth Employment Service, working with young people in Middlesbrough (as part of The Talent Match partnership) and Redcar and Cleveland provide’s a dedicated worker to support young people into work, education or training based on their individual needs. We offer:

Available to young people in the Tees Valley aged 16 – 25 and not currently in work, education or training.
The Junction is a delivery partner of the Youth Employment Initiative as part of the Pathways programme.
The Tees Valley Pathways Programme will support 6,040 young people aged 15 to 29 years old across the Tees Valley who are unemployed or inactive with the aim of progressing the individuals into education, employment, training or self-employment. The programme is supported under the Youth Employment Initiative and delivered by a consortium of organisations from the Public, Private and Voluntary Sector. The programme is part-funded by the European Social Fund and Youth Employment Initiative as part of the 2014-2020 European Structural & Investment Funds Growth Programme in England.
