Boots UK in Teesside is working in partnership with The Junction to raise funds and awareness of the important work that the charity does as well as offering practical advice and support for its young carers.
The Junction is also supported by BBC Children in Need, and this regional partnership is an extension to the national work that Boots UK has been doing with the charity to support local projects across the UK and further strengthen its relationships within the local communities it serves.
Boots UK will be supporting The Junction in its work to support vulnerable young people including young carers, young people with poor mental health and young people who are unemployed. Boots colleagues will focus on helping the young people that the charity supports to develop employability skills and help the young unemployed to build confidence and to gain employment in the future.
Chief Executive Lawrence McAnelly said “We’re really overwhelmed to have another well known high street brand & company come onboard to support our young people. Myself and the staff team are really excited about the great things that will come from this partnership.”
If you, or your company would be interested in working with The Junction to support our work and the young people we support then please send us a message and we’d love to discuss this.
